Scheduled
Chord OMS will undergo a database upgrade on Wednesday, May 17. The upgrade will start at 1 AM ET and we expect to finish by 5 AM ET at latest.

During this maintenance window, stores powered by Chord OMS will not process customer actions like adding to cart and the Chord OMS Admin panel will be unreachable. Background tasks will also be suspended during this time frame. One the database upgrade is complete, we will restore access to stores immediately.

After the upgrade concludes, we will need to reconnect all data pipelines powering Chord’s analytics. This will result in a one-time delay to ChordOMS analytics data of up to 24 hours. Normal data refreshes will resume the following day, May 18.

There is minimal risk of data loss or corruption during this process in either the Chord OMS itself or in the Chord Analytics Stack. This upgrade and the associated downtime is necessary to take advantage of new features, performance improvements, bug fixes, and operational cost improvements in the database that backs Chord OMS.

We do not take downtime lightly and will endeavor to get your stores back online as quickly as possible. We will keep this status page updated throughout the event with our progress. As always, you can reach us at help@chord.co if you have any questions or concerns about this maintenance window.
